Sorry for my naivety but isn't anything less than 65mm not charger friendly?  I.e too much pressure blowing out seals???

Its to do with the rpm that the bearings will be doing inside the charger that causes issues. 65mm is generally acceppted as the smallest size for reliabilty. If you go smaller, bearings go out of tolerance ranges and hence can unexpectantly fail.
