Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can help me please seeing as my engine is not running  :D.

Can anyone tell me the oil pressure of their G engine.

What i need is a exact reading of someones oil pressure at a specific rpm and oil temp if that is possible.

For example - 1 bar @ 2000rpm @ 80degC

I know this is abig ask but would be a massive help if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks for your time.

I dont really know much yet!! about these motors. but mine runs  sort of similar when at that temp.

From cold around 6-7 bar then when running hot 1bar

sounds about right,

isn't it something like 2bar at 2000rpm and then "1bar for every 1000rpm" after that?

Lol, not quite. That would mean 6 bar oil pressure at 6k  :D

Jez- 950rpm 75'C Gallery temp, Approx 1.2Bar Pressure

I think from memory the PRV in the pump is 3.5Bar, but it's a while since I've driven mine to be honest....

Thanks Rae and Yoof. Just the info needed for Pace products!

 ;)

My brother is designing a G40 kit using some pace parts for his final year project. If it goes ok and seems 'do'able then we'll have a crack at it on ours. Not till late 2010 though-if at all!!
