Had a whole new loom made for the car!!!

If you drive the car slowly it kangroo its jerks forward untill u put the clutch back in when u let it out it does it again ?? only if i drive it slow!!!

And it drastically under powered ???

PeteG40

you replaced the head didn't you?  make sure its compression tested and comes up ok.

Tony100

Ye ive done a comporession test its all fine within .2 of eachother?? and it ticks over fine at 1000 rpm

PeteG40

check the timing then, if the head has been off it could be out.

Still sounds like the problems from your earlier thread to me. Did you swap the regulator from the G or did you use the GT one?

Tony100

hayesey

presumably fuel pressure regulator but a GT one is the same as a G40 one anyway.

what were the results of the compression test?

Tony100

alll of the cylinders werent between 9.8 and 10.1 on this reader thing!!!!!!!!

Just wondering if he'd imported a duff one. It sounds quite like Pete's regulator problem from the not too distant past.
