hi all,
will these audi coupe girling 54 caliper carriers fit they are from an audi coupe 1989 ? i think the fixings points are 95mm apart is this correct?
Also will the same discs fit and do i just use golf mk 2 16v pads??
Finaly does any one know any one who services brake calipers??
all help appreciated

PeteG40

76mm spacing is g40/mk1/scirocco - so they appear too late

mk2 golf (late) 16v discs and pads

biggred service them or  you can exchange them at gsf/euro etc.

Yes...
They are the ones!
I don't think that audi discs will fit because they are 4x108 and mk3 polos have 4x100...
Just use calipers, discs and pads from golf mk2 gti

calipers will fit but the carriers are mk2 golf spacing ones - not earlier mk1/golf/audi ones to my knowledge.

One way to find out yourself. Measure your caliper carriers on the car

i think your right pete they are the wrong spacing but you both agree that the calipers will work if i eventualy manage to track down some caliper carriers!

1989 Audi Coupes are too late for the correct carriers anyway. 1984 - 1986 ones with pistol type door handles are the ones to look out for.

will my g40 braided flexi brake lines work with this set up or will i need to get braided audi flexi pipes??
