whats peoples opionions , for daily driving and some very very spirited driving quite often !!! whats the better option coilovers wich i currently have fitted or  adjustable dampening  shocks n springs. i like the adjustable height of coilovers because i can change the height depending on what wheels im fitting , but i like the idea of being able to set up the shocks for a nice daily drive then changing them to firm when i fancy a spirited drive. or is it posible to change the springs on coilovers and get a more comfortable set up, if so is it a quick job to do so.
let me know suspension set up youve got n what you think of it, thanks guys :)

sorry for all the following questions but i was thinking about getting some just had a few questions

Are they the new ones out are they ? with adjustable dampeneing as well as height adjustable? how did you get on fitting them and how much did they cost and where you get them from?are they plated or stainless??
but mainly its not as simple as just buying them and fitting them isit? dont you have to cut and weld something or somthing like that would i have to do thise even though ive already got coilovers fitted??
let me know im very intrested in these as i think they may solve my problems !

i have fk coilovers and they are a pain to change the height, as you have to jack each side up and turn very very slowly!

however they do make an awesome ride

depends on budget surely?

heard some good and bad reports on both ... more on spring and shock kits think you need to get a decent recommended one

coilovers are really easy to change the height and dampening etc on, persoonally i run kw coilovers i cannot moan but im sure if you know the height you wanted a good ride could be achieved without the out lay for coilovers ;D

ive got kw coilovers not sure what type though i can't find any way to adjust the dampeneing on the top or on the shock body so i assume there varient 1's there great handiling just a bit stiff for day to day driving was all so i was trying to find somthing that was both dampeneing and height adjustable

I've got GAZ adjustable damping rear coilovers and they are really comfy and easy to adjust. They come with your choice of spring rates so you can go for the right springs for your application (ie road, track, rally etc), they are fairly easy to adjust height wise aslong as you make sure you grease up the threads so they stay lubricated.

What's the brands that make adjustable shock absorbers for g40s?

i have koni adj shocks, good ride and never had problem with them.
the only problem with them is if you want to stiffen/soften you have to rip the suspention to bits to do it, you have to force the piston to the bottom of shock and turn it to adjust them,
i set mine to the middle and that seems to be fine on daily running.

I have bilstein shock absorbers right now (i find them a bit stiff for daily drive, but they are awsome on corners) ... Does anyone have any expirience both bilsteins and konis?
