hayesey

can get them cheap on german ebay.  Will increase boost to about a bar.

LeonL

Easy enough to order via German ebay though?

hayesey

paying is the difficult part.  Paypal hasn't been available for long in Germany so a lot of sellers don't have it.  Bank transfers are the only other real option but they aren't free, you'll have to ask your bank.  Or just look for a seller who takes paypal.  I find most sellers on there speak enough english to get by.

LeonL

I'm assuming i need a toothed one right? ::)

hayesey

if you've got a toothed belt conversion on it then yes.  But most toothed belt conversions already come with a 65mm pulley

LeonL

Well at the momment i just have a standard set up (with the two belts)

What should i be after?

hayesey

in that case a toothed pulley wont work.  You need just a normal twin v-belt pulley.

LeonL

So a 65mm normal v belt pulley? Or is it worth upgrading to something else?

Wont be running stupid amounts of power...R1 Charger, 65mm pulley and induction kit at the most

hayesey

I don't know what you mean by upgrade to something else, if you don't have toothed belt conversion they you'll have to use a normal twin v-belt pulley. If you want a toothed belt conversion then you need to buy a kit with all three pullies in it.

LeonL

Yeah thats what i mean, should i get a whole conversion kit inc the 3 pulleys?

Or should i just get a 65mm pulley for the v belts?

Cant seem to find any twin v velt 65mm pulleys on ebay :(

hayesey

depends how much you want to spend really.

LeonL

Well is it really worth getting toothed belts considering i wont be going for major power?

What sort of price difference am i looking at? I'm guessing around £40 for 65mm twin pulley and £200 for toothed?

DaBigGinger

If you can afford it, go for the toothed belts. Although a 65mm v-belt pulley will see a good, noticeable increase in power (loads of extra torque from the off), I got really annoyed that power kept dropping off at around 5000rpm no matter how tight my belts were.

LeonL

Hmm guess i'll just get 65mm v belt for now...

If anyone is selling let me know! or links to them being sold etc..

Cheers!
