best gearbox oil

whats the best gearbox oil to use and how much do i need?

I'm happy using Quantum hypoid synta 75w90 that you get from the dealers. There is another genuine oil, but I'm not sure the viscosity as it only has a part number on the bottle.

If you don't go to VAG, then maybe millers, silkolene or morris oils for some 75w90.

You are best getting 4 litres to be on the safe side (3.1 is the quoted capacity).
