trying to figure ut what these g40 springs are

took these off my g40 when i made coilovers put on but can't remember what they are.

they say

DE  MB8715A    3

DE  MB8714B    2
the A and B could be around the other way and so could the 2 and 3
think thats the right way round, do these come out as standard vw springs.

those paint marks show what they are off, look like g40 ones to me if im correct

ok so there not standard g40 springs then cheers. so aftermarket g40 ones.
might try and dig through my paper work tonight and see if i have invoice

the one on far left as you look is yellow... not sure if the others have them on, will look later when home.
why what they mean ?

I would say they are standard g40 springs going off the paint marks.  I just assume the two browny colours started off orange back in 1991!

ok just gave them more of  a clean up here  goes

vw/audi symbol then DE then MUB8714B 2 (large springs) Yellow/orange/orange  the orange could be brown possible.

vw/audi symbol then DE then MUB8715A 2 (small Springs) White/Brown or orange.

so you think these are standard g40 springs then

They are 25mm lower than standard polo springs iirc. Would say about £20 - £25
