Yes a g40 will be doing 153mph in fifth when it hits the limiter.

What if you've got a raised rev limit - how far would it go with an 8k limit (stopping at 7.5k I guess to save the charger)

dunno, you could work it out though.

I don't think the engine would withstand being taken up to that rpm in 5th.  Anything above 7k in any gear you are into dodgy territory, it's faster than the standard valve-train can realistically cope with.

what spec was that? Turbo I presume?

nah it's from years ago.  I think it's running a very small pulley on a g-lader and I've no idea of the rest of the spec.  He likes to keep you wondering
