Green tint

Hi

My 91 G40 has green tint glass, and i've been told this was an upgrade.  I thought they all came with green tint not clear.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

For Mk3's in the UK, clear glass was standard (apart from Genesis and Boulevard models) and green tint was an optional extra. On the continent i think that green tint was standard issue on the G40 models.

Bizarrely on further inspection the front winscreen is tinted and the rest clear - wierd!!!

I had the same thing on my last G. Its probably been replaced at somepoint. If you look at the company mark on it will probably be an aftermarket autoglass one or something.

Well ive managed to get a g40 front brake set up and a set of bbs g40 wheels, so i'm hoping to get that sorted soon.  Drives like a bag of spanners at the mo, lacks power compared to how it was, sump gasket leaking oil, supercharger belts slipping and its been cutting out too...great!!!

I will have to get her sorted soon.
