First run of 2010- Get your orders in before the show season starts :)
Most people know about this product by now, we've made a few changes for 2010, notably more clearance on runner No. 1 to allow for European Toothed Belt kits, and larger (or stock) pulley sizes.
We have not changed the high quality, and unparalled workmanship though! A selection of pictures:

All manifolds are TIG welded to ensure high strength, fantastic looks, and consistency. The manifold ends in a 63mm pipe (4-2-1 Design with the longest possible primaries) and are single piece to improve flow- tested up to 220bhp (so far...) These mate directly to our exhaust systems.
Our supplier offer large group buy discounts- I've updated the prices to reflect the increase in Stainless Steel material:
Below 5 Manifolds: £442 each
5 or Above: £400 each
10 or Above: £362 each
Please put your name down if you are interested, after a few weeks have passed I will request a £50 holding deposit and will place the order- lead time is approximately 2-3weeks depending on workload (Radical use them for all their systems, so pre race season it gets busy)

Is there any guarantee on the exhaust manifolds if so dose stay with the manifold or with the person who bought it

The 2010 prices are stated at the top of this thread- they still stand.
All our manifolds have their welds inspected and tested before they reach us- the quality of welding and fabrication can be seen from the pictures- these aren't powerflow/hot tuning/man in a shed with a welder crap. The company who make them for us have the sole contract with Radical to make full exhaust systems for them- this speaks for itself.
If you have a genuine problem with these once fitted we do our best to help- however if you've lowered your car 140mm and return it in two pieces asking for a refund... :P

You can have one pretty quickly if you're happy to pay the single unit price of £403 plus P&P. Otherwise it'll be dependant on other people joining the group buy to get the cost down for you - we'd need a minimum of 5. Let us know if you want to wait for another 2 people to join, or whether you'd like to go for the single unit option.

Updated with prices- stainless went up 12% to the supplier in June, from July 2010 they've had to pass this onto customers.
I will be collecting deposits in the next week (£50- non returnable)

There are supposedly enough intersted parties for a group buy based on 5 orders, but we are still waiting on PPP (Yoof or Andy) to get in touch regarding finalised prices and payment. In the meantime I've added you to the list.

Why will it never happen?
We're currently waiting for an ETA from point of order back from the supplier, I'm also waiting to see if we can tage a couple of exhaust systems onto the order.
Sorry for the wait, but as with anything in small numbers we have to accept the supplier has bigger companies to satisfy first, one of them being Radical.

This redesign mainly of No.1 Runner, gives a large amount more space, to cater for German toothed belts kits, and gives the added advantage of being able to use an aftermarket exhaust manifold with a larger supercharger.
No. 1 Port has been increased slightly in size to accomodate for the sharper bend radius, without a loss of flow, as usual all manifolds and systems are handmade- with everything being TIG welded.

As 2010 prices (page 1) but with 2.5% extra on VAT, so:
Below 5 Manifolds: £453 each
5 or Above: £410 each
10 or Above: £371 each
Basically increased by £10.
£200 deposit from everyone is required prior to placing the order, full payment is required before release of goods- any components not paid for within 10 working days will have a handling fee of 15% charged, and the deposit returned.
Sorry for the above, but we've been stung too many times now.

Our manifolds clear the ARB- you sure the front of the car is straight? Would be cheaper to buy some g-laderseite blocks from us for the ARB :)

Hi,
Looking for a good 4 branch exaust manifold for our track G40 (in process of being converted from a GT). Are the PPP ones still recognised as the best for performance and quality and how do I get hold of one? If not - what's the best alternative?
Also will need a full stainless exaust system to match - suggestions please for best performance, quality and size (2.5" all way through?).

The only thing i found that was a problem for me, (as i personally like to remove the charger with the bracket still attached as i find it much easier), is that you cant withdraw the allen bolt due to the no1 runner. I did get my charger out with the bracket still on the car but it was a right pain and putting it back in was the same. Charger lost lots of paint.
What im looking to do is drill out the threads and put a bolt in from the other direction with a nut on the other.

The guy who fitted mine said it fitted like it had been built on the car, and was really easy to slot into place. Highly recommended!

sorry to jump in but just a quick one; what is the difference btw this one nd e.g. Raceland manifold.? raceland I hv on my Arosa but
would like to put G60 charger in it but I think there won't be enough space for it cos 4th cilinder pipe is verry close to charger outlet nd on this one situation is different.

Yup, they're designed and fabricated by the same company that make exhausts for these guys: http://www.radicalsportscars.com/uk/
So the quality and integrity of manufacture & materials far exceeds any other manifold for sale for early Polos, granted the price also exceeds them. Both have a purpose, the Raceland items are suitable for the lower end of the market, and designed for non-G40 applications. Ours are designed with performance in mind, for the heavily tuned G40s running in excess of 170bhp.
Several years ago we re-designed No. 1 runner to give increased clearance around the charger mount, allowing G60 and Eatons a better chance of fitting. There's several subtle design features (runner diameter, hole>flange welding etc) too.
My only change would be a reliable split feature for the manifold, stock uses 4 bolts and two flanges, which in time seize, and are prone to leaking. PSD tried a sleeve joint, which don't seal 100% (not ideal to have leaks pre-lambda) and also are nigh on impossible to split after 18 months on a car.
That said, you can remove a charger, access the oil filter/alternator etc with the manifold in place, so there's not many instances when you need to remove it on its own.

Hi mate Iv messaged you on ppp about the manifolds do they come with gaskets and have you got any ready to go

They fit with a standard gasket as far as I know (where it mates with the head) the other end is just an open pipe so would use a clamp as it fits the next part of the exhaust.
Standard gasket is a 2 part gasket, rather than one long piece with 4 holes, its two separate pieces with 2 holes. It looks like this; (https://www.gladen-motorsport.de/user_html/1282900482/pix/a/g/G40_Abgaskr_mmerdichtung.jpg)
That one is 20 euro, pretty sure if you just go to your local parts place you'll get the gaskets for about ten quid, probably over the counter, or same /next day at worst.
