I wouldn't bother with the chinese copies at all.  None of the parts on them are up to standard.

was thinking of buying one of the copies from ebay and then rebuilding the internals using the parts from a legit K03 i have so i end up with a fresh turbo with a shiny casing.

thoughts?

Exhaust housing on a turbo stay nice and clean and new looking for abpit ten minutes they always end up brown and horrible because of the heat.

By the time you have messed about buying a Chinese copy and a decent genuine used k03
stripped them both down rebuilt them and had it balanced you could probably have bought 3-4 decent used k03s

Don't trust the yellows.

Been saying this for years, funnily enough, about the same time I met you.

The casings are made from old coke cans and whatever else falls in the shredder. The chinese turbos even fail on Robin, and he's genuinely Chinese, buy an old original and get it rebuilt, much safer bet.
