Engine Rebuild Parts/Numbers Thread

I think I can remember a thread where all/ most of the rebuild parts where in. I cant for the life of me find it, can anyone point me in the right direction

I'd say you need some of these...

Oil pump (optional)
oil pump chain (optional)
big end bearings
conrod bolts (optional)
main bearings
main bearing bolts
thrust bearings
crank pulley bolt
crank pulley oil seal
crank pulley oil paper gasket
6x flywheel bolts
flywheel crank oil seal
flywheel crank paper gasket
sump gasket
breather pod (optional)

for the bottom end

then you'll need head gasket (people use 8v mk4 cl ones)
head bolts (cheapo normal or dear g40 spec)
timing belt
water pump
coolant
oil
cam oil seal while yr at it (optional)

think thats it!
