Front struts shockers.

I was shocked to take apart my front struts today to fit new shock absorbers and find they were original
oil in strut ones.
One was piddling oil out and the other ok but worn out.
I was led to believe that only G40`s had these and the rest had cartridge insert types like the Boge (standard coupe height) ones i`m to fit.

Suppose someones going to say they all had these originally.

They're all like that. I've had ones off a gt, ones off normal mk3s, always been wet shocks.
