Ok i read something about putting a 2p coin in before inserting the shocks, whats the deal with this?

No i think they do it to make the shocks sit more tight in there. Some people seem to have problems with them being a bit loose in the tube and ging strange noises.(atleast some in holland have that)

koni recommends some coolant in the bottom. I put either that or oil... stops them rattling.

I always put a small amount of oil in there.
