Dunno not jacked it up yet. Will have a poke around tomorrow if I get chance. Its not been used since after Blyton so must have happened then.

mine did this last year and what a job to pull it back into place. i took the strut off and welded the crack from the inside after pulling the strut top back down into place. and while the cars off the road this winter am going to remove engine and seam weld the bay for good measure.

Well I've had a good look around it today and the crack is all the way through on the strut. Had a good look round in other areas too. Below is also on the same strut.

Looks like it's been repaired in the past?

Cost of repair is probably as much as a new shell with better paint? Stick it all in a Mk2  ;)
