Polo GT/G40 Gearbox Linkage?

everyone is telling me its part of the linkage? is that right? because i just need that bush (with the temporary red tape on there :p) and the seal for the top of it i presume?? vw said they didnt have a gear linkage repair kit, just a gear lever repair kit? [plus if anyone is breaking a GT or a mk3 polo and would sell just that part to me i would LOVE it hahah! cheers guys!!

the "repair kit" is the ball at the bottom of the gear lever, not the one you've posted.  I'm not sure of the exact name of that part but I think GSF do them, just take your pictures in and I bet they'll know what it is.

its a 'shift finger' i beleive - search for that on ebay an dit comes up with something

I had the same bother with mine popping off if i was vicious with it. I took one off a 4 speed mk2 polo and despite it being ever so very slightly different, it worked a treat.
