you'll need

g60 lader,
mounting kit (max rpm do them)
suitable outlet.
depends on your pulley set up - something suitable (may just be machining a pulley or using a different spacer)
relevant pipework to intercooler
appropriate injectors and remap
deep pockets for when gearbox shits itself from the torque!

not to mention MAP sensor, different belts many more to make full use.

Often people advise bigger Throttle body to take some back pressure off the charger.

Im doing this conversion right now..

I started with £3,000 as a budget... that money is now gone :-|

Have a look on here as this has been mentioned twice now at mine and djtez topic's.

Also you only want to run 5/6pk pulleys. Toothed ones will shag the charger. Mad mike runs 6pk and never has problem with belt slip. Also he uses a G60 throttle body setup.

Don`t know if this has any relevance but heres a link to pics i did for NickS G60 conversion.

He wanted to use his PSD G40 pulley but the mounting plate he got from G-laderseit wouldn`t allow it.
Not sure if one is available for the plate.
Basically he wants to be able to use it on both his G40 And G60 chargers incase one was being serviced or whatever.
I took a standard G60 pulley and remove all bit keeping the keyed core.
I parted that into two useable sections as i noted one end of the sleave was a little abused and was tighter on my Dummy shaft than the other
so i gave him two options.
To use his PSD G40 pulley on his G60 charger i needed to remove the back section of the pulley leaving 0.5mm of a face.
The original back part protruded by 14mm so using the tinyest part off blade i could get away with left the parted off bit smaller than original.
On the G60 charger the parted off piece will be a packer/washer for infront instead of the rear.
Then i drilled the two pieces of G60 charger sleave and Thread tapped the G40 pulley so if he needs to put the pulley back as G40 it can be of original size.
I made a Keyway to line up the parts on the dummy shaft from a true sized 6mm Allen Key.
I hope the pics explain

Excellent work there Fred; the olde lathe looks like a good investment. More strength to your arm mate.

Thanks John.

Think i need a new keyboard. I`ve noticed on various posts lately that letters are missing from words.
I`ll have to check better next time before i post.

I`ll do a Post on its own as i had Nick over yesterday with his G60 charger so did a bit more.
Guess i shouldn`t be hijacking this post.
