Radiator fan resets clock

I noticed that the digital clock has been resetting and I figured it may have been a bad battery connection or a power drop over night, but it appeared to be doing it randomly.

Finally today, I found that sometimes when the fan kicks in, or even shuts down, it resets the clock back to 0:00.

Anyone come across this before!!??

Sounds very strange. Afaik all the fan electrics are in the 'bay.
Does it do it with other high electrical load, e.g main beams + heated rear screen?

Haven't noticed it doing it with other electrical loads, but will give it a go tomorrow. I will try loading everything up then get the fan to come in and see if it does it consistently.

I guess then it would probably be a bad battery or voltage reg?
