polo Mk3 G40 (Eaton M45 charged)
« on: March 19, 2012, 05:43:38 pm »
Hi all,

I am putting my Eaton G40 up for sale due to me buying a new car because of all the motorway miles i am currently doing.

It is a genuine Mk3 G40 in alpine white but converted to an Eaton charger.

Currently has Tax til end of May and MOT til mid June

Cambelt was done 3,000 miles ago

It has 121,000 miles but will rise slightly as its still in use. Its got part VW service history and the rest is private receipts from garages and for parts.

I have a whole file full of invoices, MOT's, old tax discs and Rolling road printouts.

The specification is as followed;

ENGINE

M45 eaton charger
310cc saab turbo injectors
High lift racing cam
Front mount intercooler
K and N cone filter
Blow off Valve
4-2-1 Manifold (heat wrapped)
John Ashley exhaust system (straight through system)
Oil catch tank
HT competition leads (red)
Blue silicon hosing
Chrome rocker cover
Chrome Engine bay piping

Ideally could do with a custom map to get it running to its potential.

Exterior and suspension

Alpine white in very good condition (washed and polished weekly)
Bonnet Bra
German pressed plates
Lowered 60mm all around on TA techniks ( rears are adjustable)
Polybushed all the way around
currently on Alleycat Rallyes 13*7j with a slight stretch
5mm spacers at the front
Yokohoma A539 all round in near new condition ( currently retailing at £80 a corner)
BBS RA's 13*5.5j which are on nexens 175/60/13

Interior

Standard G40 interior
JVC head unit
Boost gauge
The interior is in good condition for a 20 year old car

Performance
VERY FAST
158 BHP (rolling road printout)
0-60 in around 6 seconds maybe a little quicker.
Power to weight around 200bhp/tonne
Could benefit from a custom map which should take it around 190bhp

Now for the niggly bits

The sunroof doesnt work hasnt caused me any problems.
slight blow from the exhaust
very small mark of rust coming through hardly noticeable unless close
small area of Lacquer peel on the dishes of 2/4 of the Alleycats.
front bumper is slightly away from the front slampanel due to the front mount intercooler
small rust marks near the front of the engine bay

I will regret selling this car but cant afford to maintain this to the high standard I would like to especially with the new car coming along, so i would rather it go to someone who will look after it.

Both sets of alloys will come with the car if a reasonable offer is made.

Price

£2500 but I am open to reasonable offers
