Paint code -No sticker+Service book
« on: October 12, 2011, 06:54:36 pm »
Well, just got the engine bay primed. but i dont have the paint code :( It has had a respray before and the sticker no longer remains. I have a huge folder of paperwork for the G but no service book. Also my local VW dealer's database doesn't go back to the age of the car.

Any ideas ? Does anyone have the same colour car ?

Thanks in advance.

If its the blue color that turns a bit purple in the sun then I can help you with that! The sticker is located in the trunk just under the carpet btw! Will look into my code if that helps you!

The sticker isn't there that's my issue, I think it was removed when it was painted previously. And yes that's the colour! It would be soooo helpfull if you could do that

Thanks!

In my opinion the colour is Royal Blue and the colour code is LA5U.

Are you using solvent or water base coat?

Best colour for a G.
