Here is my much loved G40 and reluctant sale....

Years MOT and 2 months tax.

Model:
MK3 Coupe CL Red

Engine:
G40 'PY' full engine conversion
Bare block rebuild by PSD
PSD chip
65mm pulley
De-wedged throttle body
Jabbasport cone filter
fast road clutch
Charger serviced at (127745miles).

Suspension:
H&R Cup kit 40m drop all round
Powerflex front bushes

Brakes:
G40 front brakes with EBC grooved discs and green stuff pads.

Wheels and Tyres:
Rial GS 14x6 Cup alloys
4x Toyo Proxe T1-R 195/45/14 lots of tread still

Interior/Exterior Styling:
Clear front repeaters
Clear side repeaters
Full Scirocco GT2 Interior in very good condition.
Black genesis door cards, carpet and parcel shelf.
G40 clocks and steering wheel.
Sunroof
Boost and Air/fuel gauge.
All under body seals in excellent condition.
Single wiper, other hole smoothed and sprayed.
Ariel removed, hole smoothed and sprayed.

Ice/security:
CD/MP3/Radio with USB/AUX port for ipod
Thacham Grade 1 Immobiliser

The original car is a 1992 Polo 1.3CL, with G40 engine and running gear installed by PSD (117829miles). At the time of install the engine had a minor rebuild and the charger was rebuilt.

Finishing mileage on CL was 100186 miles
New G40 clocks start at 117829 miles
Current mileage is at 146000 miles but will go up as its turned into my daily!

Since my ownership I’ve replaced:
Both cooling sensors
Lambda sensor
Sump gasket
Battery
Washer pump
New windscreen
Second hand distributor

I've had it serviced at 143000 , 144000 and this week am giving it another service (plugs, oil, oil filter). Charger has been lightly greased every 1000miles using HHS as sold by clubG40.

Comes with a HUGE folder and a book with everything ever done on the car.

The car over all is a very clean and tidy example, but does have a few stone chips on the bonnet, a small parking ding on the passenger door and a ding on the boot! (been quoted £50 to fix but don’t have the time to fix it).
The only let down I feel is the wheels as the lacquer seems to be going a bit funny, but I bought some 14” mini G60s to refurb that I was going to pop on so the sale will come with those too.

It is a reluctant sale as I'm moving to brighton and I work in woking so I'm looking to get a golf tdi 130 ;)

Does anyone know where this car is now.

From description it's my old Polo CL G40 conversion in Classic Red - K150 OAG. I owned it from 2001 when it was just a 1300 CL and did the conversion on it with the help of a friend. Loved that car. I can fill in on the history and have a load of picks for the current owner.
