After some pondering, I’ve concluded to sell my much loved G40. Initially I bought the car when I was single, and now have commitments to family which I require a bigger car. Unfortunately I would love to keep her, but I can not afford running 2 cars, although I would love to.

The car has brought me an immense amount of pleasure during the time I’ve owned It, and I’m sure I’ll regret selling it, but one must move on.

The car has just gone through a MOT, and has had a full service.

Engine in brief
Jabba sport induction kit with heat shield and PSD collar.

AMD superchip to suit car.

PSD Full blend charger with a sleeved scroll (serviced by G Works) paperwork available.

PSD tooth belt kit (this kit dose not shred belts also I have a brand new spare belt)

Boost return mod

Long life stainless 2.5” full straight through exhaust system with custom TDI style tailpipe

Decatted

GT inlet manifold

Custom induction pipes with samco rubbers pipes

Larger front mount intercooler

13 row mocal oil cooler with braided hoses and thermostat

Mocal oil catch tank

Polished rocker cover

Tyres and suspension

13” deep dish image split rims (cost me just under a grand and have no marks. These make the car)

195/45 R 13 Conti sport contact tyres (these have loads of thread on them near to brand new)

Front strut brace

Front lower strut brace

Rear strut brace

H&R cup kit suspension

Gladerseite front ARB bushes

Front Polly bushes

Rear Polly bushes

Brakes

Tarox front f2000 discs (grooved)

Tarox racing pads (still have plenty of life left)

Motul dot 5.1 brake fluid (also have 1 bottle you can have)

New copper brake lines in the rear

Golf Bigger master cylinder

Rear shoes and wheel cylinders renewed not long ago

Other bits
HID kit (not cheap one that cut in the wiring)

Garret boost gauge (charger giving a healthy 15 psi)

Rear tinted windows with retro blue fade in front windscreen

Cobreau recliner front seats (minor rips)

Retrimmed door cars with speaker inserts

Cat 1 Toad A50 alarm

Bad bits

As we all know G40’s are near the 20 year old mark so it does have the minor scruff that an old car has it also has a tiny bit of surface rust near the rear light and under the driver’s door.

General

I have all the receipts to prove all work which has been carried, and also have old MOT’s and tax discs.

I have taken good care of this car since owning her. She has had oil changes every 1500 miles, and full services every 10,000miles - stamps and receipts are available for proof. It also has been loved throughout its life, resulting in an excellent example of a G40 conversion. It still drives very well indeed, and the engine runs incredibly smooth. This car is great fun truly for the looks it gets, but as a bonus, it’s fun to drive, and has plenty of kick behind it. She certainly never fails to put a smile on my face, that’s for sure!

I get many lovely comments from the public on random occasions commenting how nice of a car it is, and also when I stop at the service stations, people are always over to ask what it is, and credit me to how clean I’ve preserved  it.

Of course, words, and photos can only say so much. If you would like to arrange viewing, I am available to contact via email, mobile, and even PM. You can also call late in the evenings. (See above for details above)

Notes

I am prepared to sell the car without the wheels if you are interested (a good set of standard black bbs wheels with toyo tyres) which have good life left in them ) will be provided in their place.

Just to note, there will be no stereo included in sale – it is your typical single DIN stereo which can be purchased from halfords or ebay on the cheap.

I also have various brand new, and used G40 parts for sale - give me a call for further details.

Thank you for your time enjoy the photos
