vernier pulley wont fit :(

Got one of those purple anodised vernier pulleys from ebay and it wont bloody fit! Grrrrrrrrr. Seems to be a tiny bit too small to fit over the end of the camshaft. even with the woodruff key out, it still wont slide on. Should they be uber tight fitting or have i again been sold something labelled wrongly?

sorted now I dont quite know how but we asked about the street. Quicker than getting info from here

How did you get it to fit then Jon? Was the vernier pulley itself at fault?
