How do i stop my head lights coming on with my side lights

The 'dim dip' resistor is near the fusebox, top right of the engine bay. It's a cylindrical coil resistor roughly smartie packet size. There's a few yellow wires and a white/clear connector. Unplug this connector and it should be sidelights-only in future :)
