Hillclimb G40 in PVW

Heard a rumour there is one in there this month.
Seen a scan of the front cover and it is there.

Anyone know anything about this?

Picked one up last night - 195 bhp? must run nitrous! Don't know about LSD being standard? Good to see G40 featured though.

PVW pisses me off it should be call PVWG performance vw golf. I subscribed to i and for a year i don't think there was one polo in it

I know what you mean man, I buy PVW most month's and from memory I think they have mentioned a polo G40 once in the last 6 month's some lad won a f6 squared trophy for his home grown G but the car didn't get pictured??

I scan through it at smiths. if there aint a polo in it, i dont buy it.

I think it means, that the setup that he has got on a 1300cc block is good for up to 195 bhp as i believe you cant run nitrous on hill climb.

Only thing i can think of when he says it came with a lsd might be that he got a cup gearbox without knowing?

i think the article says he picked the car up from the old polo racing events that were held. if thats the case i would of thought it would of came with a lsd for racing purposes.

Car looks to be an original cup car- but has been road registered (hence the plates), also explains the safety devices cage, Phase 2 diff etc.

I'd question 195bhp- more like 180bhp, but should still go very well
