few tiny little bits to sort out, but these are all minor mk3 specific faults, the car runs flawlessy and i am throughly impressed, big respect to my man barney, and to jason (g-spot) for his hard work and dedication, which has made this G into quite the beast.

will take some current pics soon after a good polish =]

naah theres not much that needs doing on this beast to be fair!

replace all engine mounts with new VAG rubbers
rewire up oil pressure and temperature guage
remove aquamist and sell
possibly fit FMIC but i dont think its required
sort dropping drivers hinge
give the car a full mop
steam clean the bay
fit a catch tank
clean up and paint some engine components
remove rear brake light
change quarterlights to bonded versions
change heater blower, or clean/oil fan to stop it squeaking!
black side indi's
remove G40 badges and put on Polo Coupe badge on rear

probably going to sell the PPP frame to a friend and a buy a PPS one, as I like new things.

then all it needs at some point is a bit of rust tidying up and a blowover!

As for the other cars, i've got a new engine coming for the peril, and the inlet manifolds for the carbs should be ready soon, but before i stick it in the peril, itll all be going in the mk1 polo and that'll get taken for an mot so i have a list of work that needs doing on it, before i take it to get sprayed up.

GT has sold now to a friend, and gets to stay local which im pleased about. Just need to move house and get somewhere with a garage and i will be the happiest pup in town woop woop

Bare in mind if you remove the Aquamist it'll need remapping to suit. That car's had a custom map from Steve with the 'mist turned on. Personally I'd leave the Aquamist on!

andy - the aquamist is plumbed, but not wired in. i need to do some reading up on the kits first, before i make a final decision really. didnt think the aquamist would have an effect or require the car to be mapped to suit. if you guys dont mind, id be happy to bring it over to you, i know the area round your unit well as my old unit was only a stones throw away. wouldnt mind someone with a keen G eye to cast it over the motor.

yoofenstein - not really the same is it painting it?! Its not for a colour change, its more for some nice new rose-joints and I have one before and rated it highly. I cant fault this one, however, but the cost of change wouldnt be much, and it would mean adam would get a cheap subframe for his own G.

only thing i want to sort it a clunk when changing gear, and going over rough surfaces, mainly originating on the left side of the car, the steering arms are all fine, TCA's are fine and the top-mounts are good, so im suspecting the minute, its the rear gearbox mount rubbers are a bit past it, so once they are replaced, hopefully the noises will be gone and if not thats another bit of troubleshooting out the way, and less parts to check.

out of interest - does anyone know if this cars ever seen the rollers in its current guise? and does 10 psi of boost sound like at higher revs? the car is really nice giving good off-boost power, and around 5psi of boost from 3-5 and 10 above, which means you can get some go, without spinning up the wheels.
