I did my strut brace this weekend

The mystery is solved! and at a rather wonderful soulution!

so Tom sent an email to Stuart asking him what they were and also what bolts are used because we didnt get any more than what you see in the picture when we bought it.

and he sent us a reply basically saying...

The frame i have is an old design, and the bits im not sure about fit to the TCAs. then went on to say the flaws with this design... and then...

"i would recommend you dont use this setup, but all is not lost, if you would send it all to me i will update it to the new design FOC, all i would ask of you is to cover the postage, i'd rather do this for you than have a frame of mine out there that isn't up to scratch. and it would come back with all the bolts and stuff you need"

What a wonderful chap!

... i wonder if he can powder coat it pink for me too while hes there..

Can i ask whats wrong with the frame as i have the exactly the same frame as that on my g40! i hope its nothing serious.

This bit is what he said before the bit i originally posted from the email "The frame you have is one of the first designs, the bits you refer to are fitted to the TCA's and take the other rose joint, the reason these have been superceded by the design you have, is that over time those brackets can turn wich alters their length and throws out your settings"
