Hello Yoof!

I am interested in a subframe. Could I see how this is stage 2?

Thank you!

Hmm, very tempted by one of these. Shame it's car insurance month.

Might relieve you of one at the beginning of May though.

Got 6 coming in within the next few weeks, I'll post up here when I pick them up  :)

Alex- No problem, you got ARB blocks already?

I do. I quite fancy one of the new frames with the ARB retained but I'd rather get this one for now and enjoy some of the benefits. I'm thinking I might go down a notch on my front spring poundage to put a bit of ride quality back in. Trouble is with no ARB I'm worried I'll be rolling about.

But then I also want a set of your TCAs which I assume you need a stage 3 for?

Erm- Ideally yes, as when dialing in any camber (making TCA longer) you're also dialing in more castor angle by default, so need to make the compression strut longer too, in order to retain the original castor angle with an increase in camber.

Unfortunately on a stock setup you obviously can't do this (you could space the ARB- but I doubt you'd get much real world adjustment, and it's a PITA).

So to answer- yes it can be done on a stage 2, but castor correction is limited by stock ARB.

Also worth mentioning that on a stock ARB setup with aftermarket ARB blocks you're unlikely to be wanting to dial-in huge amounts of camber. So as long as your aim is just to ensure geometry is to standard spec then they should work fine.

Cool, I thought that might be the case. I'm still thinking I'll go for one of these for now, then upgrade when money allows. There'll always be a market for these second hand.
