It's my daily at the moment, and with standard driveshafts I'm not sure I want to risk it. Otherwise, I'd be up for it.

With 170lb/ft and 2nd gear launches with a paddle clutch and semi-slicks I never broke a shaft or CV, so you'll be fine!

Yeah nowt wrong with stock shafts, I did 8 runs or so at springfest no bother and then drove the 100 odd mile back oop north.

Will run myself depending on how busy it is etc and how many others are running. Be nice to have someone to talk to whilst queuing, can get quite boring if you're on your tod.

Ill be at this with 4 other mates in their g40s, but we will be in the general camping area as we have a few other cars coming to, which arent polos, 1 not even a vw! i will be on the strip though so hopefully see you guys there!

Does anyone know what the deal is with the night racing? What time does the running finish?

I am trying to get down for the whole weekend but wedding plans look like i am only going to be able to make it for the Sunday, i have heard that there are other proper drag cars which are going to be running too giving us VW's less track time.
