the panel does virtually sod all, its super thin metal and is only there to let the heater fan get clean air and not engine fumes. in addition to this anyway - my bulkhead has been reinforced due to other mods

doesnt sound gud :s could you elaborate a little  only just got it and came like that, reckon i know what you mean but i wouldnt want to fiddle with it without being sure.

none of my old cars have ever really needed any work, trying to pick up as much as i can for the G, got my haynes manual on the way lol.

As Yoof points out - the white 3-pin plug that's currently plugged into the CO pot (boost intake pipe to the right of the throttle body) needs to plug into the white connector on the back->right of the throttle body.
The black 3-pin connector with 3-wires (blue, blue/white, brown) that's currently plugged in the back of the throttle body should be plugged into the CO pot.

thanks for the spot yoof, and ta for walkthrough 'cheys'. would not have spotted that myself, and now i will stop clutering the thread
