Cossie Intercoolers

Picked up a 2wd saph cosworth intercooler off ebay for next to nothing as i've noticed these are quite a popular upgrade. I've also seen where they need to be modified to fit, but can see no explanation of what needs to be done, can anyone offer any ideas?

well the one I used to have had the end tanks cut off and new ones tig welded up so the pipe connectors stick straight out instead of at funny angles:
