fan override dash switch
« on: February 21, 2010, 11:17:42 pm »
Thinking of putting a switch in the dash so i can turn the fan on when the engine gets too hot.

Wiring the switch is easy, its just the rest im not sure about. Which wires on the back of the fan do i need to splice into?

you want to connect one side of the switch to 12v and the other side to the 2nd stage wire going into the back of the fan switch on the radiator.  Which is one of the outer wires on the connector, can't remember which.
