Hi does anyboby have any pictures/info of the polo g40 bottom arms with the metal inner joint? I have been competing at Harewood hillclimb for a number of years ,and this season they have banned rose joints on road modified cars unless fitted as standard. obviously if i can prove they were fitted to standard g40s it would be a big advantage...  many Thanks Richard

Is your car the mental white looking thing? If so get some pics and info up please, even if its not, get some pics and info up. How does a G do on hillclimbs? I've been meaning to go and watch at harewood, whens the next time you are competing?

I'm sure on www.vagcat.com it will list a different part number for the G40 TCA's than the rest of the range, I'm not sure it will implicitly state that they are rose jointed however. Welcome to the forum by the way.

this it?  Nice!   Not Boakes/ex Peter Studer Ex-Cup car is it re-registered?  A lad from nottingham bought it and then never heard a thing about it since.  Is David Sturdy not driving this anymore then?

Hello many thanks for the pics, do you have a picture showing the inner metal joint on the bottom arm? is the inner joint actually a metal rose joint type joint with a rubber cover? thanks again Rich

The inner joint is definately rose jointed, but I think you'll find they're now discontinued. Your best bet would be to advertise for an old set and get the joints rebuilt. As for verifying their status, mabe  ask for a letter to that effect from one of our club moderators.

cheers John, how do i go about that? whilst i m on does anybody know of a decent car trailer for sale ? fairly urgent Cheers Rich

Went to my vw the other day and they can still get them new...

That's good news. Quite a few folk had trouble sourcing them about a year ago. Maybe demand on the continent's been strong.
