Gearbox oil

Changing engine oil so might as well do both and need to know what grade of oil is recomended for gearbox and any particular make?

How often do people change their gearbox oil?

80-90W hypoid is the standard stuff if I remember correctly.  Can get it from VW or GSF etc...

Should only ever need replacing the once really.  I've ended up doing it a few times thanks to gearboxes and diffs breaking.
