great day, the nova with no windscreen was a great sight! especialy driving along the a66 between stages....

Any idea what the spec of the Golf and Polo is? I was servicing for car 126 all day and never had a chance to snoop about!

I love seeing pictures like this but I always have mixed feelings. Its good to see them doing what they should be doing but it scares me when old metal is out there and is so vulnerable on a rally stage. I wonder what percentage of Mk1/2 escorts have died on rally stages!

the funny thing is, the quality of escorts out there now is far superior than ever...  6sp seq boxes with 300 brake NA engines

some people are chucking 50k plus into mk escorts and in the right hands can beat wrc cars. There was one mk2 escort with a mazda wankle engine which sounded fooking amazing. Ive seen totalled mk2 escorts rebuilt as there are loads of parts still available for them these days

oh and yeah many have died, but for a good reason though :)

Portsmouth mate! long old drive did around 900Miles in less than 24 hours haha.

That yellow proton is such a great car..

I hope you don't mind rallying classic cars as Im building a tarmac spec mk1 polo!

That yellow kadett is prepped by Chris Birkbeck who indecently sold me my SD rollcage  :)
