G40 in a mk2

Hi, i know putting a g40 in a mk2 has been done before, despite it being a tight squeeze lol, obvs I'm going to have to use the g40 eninge loom, but what about the fuse box or are they the same? and how about any of the interior wiring? Do the g40's have a data link connector and is that what is used when re-mapping? is so i guess ill need to transfer that wiring over?

Could the mk2 clocks be used, as i want to keep the interior as standard as pos, or can the mk3 clocks be fitted into a mk2 dash without to much work?

If i have to use the mk3 clocks i have a set of gt one's already, or should i try and get hold of a g40 set?

I think the clocks will fit in a mk2 from a mk3!
