subjective really,

stock g are 5.5x13 et38 with 175 60 13 can go up to 7x13 with 175 50 13 or 195 45 13

14s fit - 6, 6.5, 7s with a push with similar ets and 195 45 14 or 185 50 14 or 175 50 14 tyres

15s do fit but people argue they are a little bit (with similar ets)  preferably 6s or 6.5s as wider tend to scrub.  195 45 15 can be used but some might scrub, depending on how curved the brand of tyre is on sidewall.  You can also use 165 50 15 but this might be a little skinny and stretched on a g40 to get power down.

My 15" oz alloys were 7" wide and only rubbed a little on full lock. The tire size was 195/45 i think.

I went from standard 13's to 195/45/15 on 7" wide rims, it's lowered on Spax dampers and Eibach springs but can't remember how much. Rear wheels had to be spaced about half inch to clear the spring caps (stub axle spaced, not wheel spacers), but this caused scrubbing on the rear nearside arch when giving it some on slightly bumpy roads. Why only one side I don't know! 6" wide and narrower tyres would perhaps avoid both problems, but I don't know as I've no experience.
With this size wheels  and tyres the car felt slower and not as agile and nimble. But as I'd like 256mm front discs I'm going to compromise with 6x14, probably go with 185/50/14 as it's been mentioned more than once on here that this is pretty close to the radius of the standard 13's.

Hi,

I'm new on this forum and I'm from france. I'll do my presentation as soon as possible.

Just want to answer you about your tire size. On all my G40's I use 185/45/15 tires. This size exist only in Nankang brand. They are, on my own opinion, as good as Bridgestone RE070. Other good point whit this size: the final "developpement" is the same of 175/60/13!
