kompressor1

Hello everybody,

I'm kompressor1, I live in France, I'm 34 years old and I'm a G40's addict since I'm 17!!! My english is not very good (I never have opportunity to speak) but I'll do my best...

I bought my first G40 in 2001, its a MKII and it still in my garage. I've an other MKII but whitout papers. I've a MKIII to and it's my 4th one. In order I had a red one, an original cup from Switzerland, a white and now a green one.

As soon as I've few minutes I'll post fotos from my cars.

I don't know what to tell more so you can ask me what you want' to know...

I come in this forum because I know that in UK there are a lot of very beautifull G's and in France it become very hard to find one :-[

Bonjour!

We sold about 12 frames to your friends in France last year, hopefully there are a few more better handling Polos over there now  :)

Bonjour!  (That's about all the French I know so your English is a lot better than my French so don't worry about not getting it perfect!)

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your cars too.

I thought that there were more G40s in France than the UK, they only ever sold about 600 of them over here and no MKII G40s at all.

Welcome to the forum.

However there is a lot of G40 in France, a big part of their owners spend so few money to keep them beautifull and powerfull...

Only 600 G40's in England?! I'm a little bit surprised, I ever thought there were more... Only 500 MKII in France and 1300 MKIII, and we never had any G40 cup :-\

hayesey

we got about 50 MKIII cup cars in the uk but I don't think there any many surviving ones, probably less than ten I reckon but that's just my guess.
