Well took my car in to get an MOT but due to cold weather and not being able to work on my car i got the place i use to put my disc's, pads, s/s brake hoses, brake shoes, hubs and clutch cable before the MOT.
Well it turns out my fuel tank needs replacing as when he put it up on the ramp he said that who ever fitted the exhaust system i have (previous owner), my lovely dtm cat back lol, had got that hot and it was touching the fuel tank that it had gone right into the tank and almost welded itself on. He said im suprised it hasnt blown up yet
Lucky i got hold of a genuine vag fuel tank
and it is getting sand chipped/painted before it goes on. Lucky....
Also the o/s rear wheel cyclinder was pissing out brake fluid.
And two tryes need replacing so got some toyo proxes on order.
