na ED38 this yr for me was full of nooobs.  Catching up with mates was good as was auto jumble but its too loud and boisterous for me... and i like a bit of loudness and boisterousness!

Sounds like you guys had it rough at ed38 2009. It was the first time me and a couple of mates had been and we got there friday eve and had to leave due to work commitments late saturday afternoon so didnt see any of the carnage. Did notice a few dicks turning up during saturday though to be fair but then thats seems to be normal nowadays..

is there any shows up nearer the borders? as most of the shows are to far south for me to drive to in the G. i tend to get tired driving long distance.

Reckon I'm gonna go to a few of the lower key ones this year, some of the "big" stuff has lost it's appeal for me these days....

If your in the Essex area you should definitely check out the elemental show in the Stansted area, Nice mix of aircooled and watercooled and a relaxed atmosphere which is always good!
