Fuel filters and pumps

Going through a service of my own at the mo and replacing pretty much everything.

Fuel filters, should i just get a standard one from somewhere like euro car parts, or is it worth getting an upgraded filter?

And with fuel pumps, inline fuel pump?

ive got a halfords brought filter on mine and never had any problems.

I'm not really sure what an "uprated" fuel filter would be but the standard one is fine.  Replacing it every so often is a very good idea, no need to waste money on anything sold at a premium as "uprated".
