Now ive been told that it isnt a good idea to run a foam filter with a supercharger. Is this true?

The only reason i brought it was because it has to fit in a confined space which my other shitty cheap filter wouldnt do.

cheers guys.

In a nut shell, filter ability for stopping particulates:

paper/fibre>cotton gauze>sponge/foam.

Particulates + lube = grinding paste.

i cant see it being anymore of a danger using it with an eaton than a G-lader.

I'd struggle to get an airbox in my engine bay with all the other bits i need :(

If anyone knows of a slimline filter thats not foam let me know.
