hi, does anybody know the dimentions of the bolt hole which the knock sensor attaches via, eg: diameter, depth, thread pitch etc

They are an M8 thread. Depth of tapping would probably 2 x diameter (16mm). Face of the lug that is being drilled and taped would need a skim first so it's flat.

You don't measure measure metric threads in threads per inch (TPI) you measure them in mm !

The thread pitch for M8 is 1.25mm
