any one no where i can get some decent poly topmounts,
i have tried venom and they are out of stock for a good few months,
or do you reckon it would be worth just getting some standard ones?

http://www.g-laderseite.de/ sell some rubber/billet alu ones for polos, they also allow a touch of camber adjustment. Not aware of anyone making direct replacement polyurethane top mounts for a polo

Which ones are you looking at, I've got some of the half rubber ones that have never been fitted that I might consider selling.

Not sure yet as I still have the standard/stock suspension but may be consider a full lowering set with the shocks and front legs from FK Konigsport (koni)
