G40 saloon

Started off like...



Been sat around unloved for a little while as I kept changing my mind on what to put in it :lol: Decided with a stock rebuilt G40 lump with a few painted/powdercoated bits and the usual mods.... GT inlet, G60 injectors, 65mm pulley and an sns map.







Exhaust, thought I'd try maximum angle :lol:



Think I'll be changing that next week though. Engine...









Engine has a few new bits...

Headgasket
TB gaskets
Inlet gasket
Exhaust gaskets
Sump gasket
Camshaft oil seal
Cambelt
Water pump
All rubber o rings
OE Clutch
Plugs
Leads
Dizzy cap
Rotor arm
Coil
Lambda probe
Oil pressure senders
Header tank
G60 front left engine mount, new VW rear and a poly front
Most nuts and bolts replaced with stainless
New charger oil feed
New banjo bolts
Silicone hoses

Spec

G60 250cc injectors
Rebuilt lader
65mm Multi v pullies
SNS anti lag map
GT inlet
4 Branch modified to 2.25" outlet with a straight through 2.25" exhaust

G40 brakes with green stuff pads and ATE discs
Braided hoses
New G40 lower arms
G40 steering damper
Fk highsport coilovers
14" BBS RA powdercoated in shadow chrome with 185 50 14 yokos

Alright Phil,
That engine bay looks mighty fine. 8)
I do like mk3 saloons - that looks a very tidy example.
When are you due to blow the engine up on it? ;D

Nice one, wheels go really with car and so do orange repeaters!

for no apparent reason I really like the G40 engine bay with the airbox in place, makes it look a bit more complete if you know what i mean?
