hi, i've recently just bought a G40! And im new to the forum too!its brilliant but its all new to me and i want to learn more about it. Im gonna sound stupid and probably ask really dumb questions that might seem obvious but i need to learn.
The car has as follows, fully blended charger(but needs doing again soon)
dewedged throttle body
65mm pulley
chipped ecu
de cat
restrictions removed off air box.
My G also has the boost return Mod, all around the throttle body where the air is released, the pipes and the top of the suspension turrett are very wet, oily and damp, you can see where the air has been blown out at force, is this normal to be that wet?
Also, my boost gauge will tell me, when im putting my foot down taking to high revs, it will build up pressure but mid way seems to drop pressure then go back up again, is this normal? If not what could it be a sign of. When i take it right round to near red line too, boost gauge will read 0.8 bar roughly, is that normal boost for that sort of driving.
Torque steer! it is rather alot, normal for these?
