OK, so I know this isn't a Club G40 event but it's still pretty much the most important polo-related meeting of the year!

I also know that a hell of a lot of work is currently being done by club polo admins to make it happen since we got kicked out of Billing Aquadrome.

In case you don't already know, this year the show is going to be at Whittlebury Park in Northamptonshire.  It's the official Silverstone campsite right next to the track so should be an interesting location.

More info and how to book a place (not too sure what the situation is on paying on the gate this year), check this out:

I know I'll certainly be there!  :)

Well, this show was going to be the debut outing for my G40 but it clashes with Vanfest!!! grrrrr

Hope you all have a great time :)

Just a quick reminder, this is just over a week away now.  Should be a good weekend!

vwmk3jon: who makes it out to be "snooty"?  I've never got that feeling at all, always a very, very relaxed atmosphere as far as I'm concerned.

Well i went last year thought it was very relaxed, a good laugh, an you can pretty much talk to everyone and anyone without issue. You are always going to have c**ks going but the majority of people are fine in my opinion. Shame i was to drunk to remember any of the names of the people i met though  :D

I
even brought my G there an met the two previous owners which was really cool.

I still keep an eye on Gordon's progress :-)

i didnt mean the people being snooty, just the venue. I always find the peeps to be friendly and always up for a laugh. Just didnt wanna run the risk of getting thrown out.

EDIT: It wasnt as snooty as 1st thought, infact imo, quite the opposite!
