Alex's oil cooler looks to be a 13 row/235mm one.

Correct! :)

Buying a complete oil cooler kit is expensive, and often the hose lengths are somewhat "universal".
You can fit the thermostatic sandwich plate from any late Vauxhall XE or Ecotec powered Cavalier/Astra/Calibra/Vectra. Plentiful at the breakers and cheap too. The common 235mm 13 row oil coolers can be found cheap on ebay too.

Steve, if your oil cooler core is a 100mm high then it'll be a 13 row one too. 10 row ones are about 75mm high.

ok i,ll check but mines does not look as long as that one what is the length on that cooler i,ll messure mine but i think it is only something like 20cm long

breadman

There are 2 standard matrix lengths available, 115mm or the more usual 235mm. Overall lengths are 210mm and 330mm respectively.
