What you like in G40s?

1) Nobody knows them
2)Can still beat some modern 1800 cars

What do I like in G40's?
Errr, well I'm not keen on the looks of the mk3 Coupe - unfortunately there were no factory G40 breadvans

So ermm - Oh yeah -I do like the engine! Well I like the fact that I can fit it with a turbo conversion into my lovely little mk2 breadvan and make it far too fast for its (and my) own good!
So there you go, a few of the mechanical bits and the engine/transmission are all worth keeping.

I like mine because it's low and has instant torque so it feels really fast. Because very few other people "get it" and because I'm practised at fixing Mk3 polo's!
